Overview
Powerslide NEXT 110 Inline Skates Black/Red. The NEXT boot changed urban skating with an adjustable cuff height (rotating cuff spacers) and cutouts to change forward flex. Trinity mounting has the 3x110mm skating close as possible to the ground, with a winged mount under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels. It also adds stability and power when carving through the streets. Elite aluminum frames are rigid, responsive and now for better stability and control, match up better with shoe size (243mm Sizes EU36-43, 270mm Sizes EU44-49).
Heat-moldable MYFIT Recall Dual-Fit Liners (removable) have memory fit padding and lace holes that allow the skater to sync with the shell to change support and feel. Skating pleasure is enhanced with smooth-rolling, fast, and grippy Spinner 80mm 88A Wheels (Wicked ABEC9). The black and red boots with matching red frames are eye-catching.

Very goodThey are beautiful and smooth. Easy to turn side to side and especially skate backward. My feet don't move around on the inside with them. The only thing that I didn't like was that the breaks weren't included and are expensive.
Love these inline skatesLove, Love, Love these Inline Skates!! Red&Black is a favorite color combination, and the great sale price made the purchase an eager “no-brainer”!!! I used to do a lot of skating around NYC in the 90’s on my 4x85mm Rollerblades. I hated when the pavement would go from smooth to (just a little) rough and it would be enough to pitch me on my knees. Not a problem with these big gorgeous 110mm wheels…they can handle pavement changes without a problem.
I used the recommended “outline my feet in socks” method and they measured exactly 26.1cm. I bought the 7.5-8.0 size boot (my normal shoe size). My toes just touched the front of the boot, so I ordered 9.0-10.0 size boot which gave me a little more “wiggle room”. Inlinewarehouse’s great customer service made the exchange fast and easy…I had my ideal skate within about two days!! The skates were wonderful, wheels spin smooth and fast. The boot fit is so comfortable, and I feel incredible control over the wheels with a lot of stability as well. I also really like the HABS Brake Mount. Although I have a very reliable T-Stop; replacement brake pads are A LOT cheaper than replacement wheels!! Why drag and wear down your beautiful wheels to stop when using the HABS brake is cheap and easy???!!
I can tell that Powerslide really knows what skaters need and have designed a gorgeous skate to meet those needs. I LOVE the trinity mount and the “as low as possible” center of gravity it provides. Also, there are soooo many Trinity frames available if you want to change things up (size and number of wheels). Finally, I really prefer an aggressive forward lean when skating. I was a little annoyed that the cuff restricted this. Spent some time on the “Powerslide Website” and found the Tech Talk Video Section…there is a ton of informative tips and advice on maintaining and servicing your skates. I found a tutorial on how to cut the boot and cuff to maximize the forward lean: “How to adjust the cuff and shell on a Next”!!! Powerslide molded in cut lines in the boot and cuff to guide you if you wanted to make this modification. They really have thought of everything!! WONDERFUL skate, designed and built by a SMART manufacturer, sold by a GREAT company!!!!
Great out of the box!My first pair of 110 mm skates. Fit great and well make skates. Good skates for urban-style skating. They roll good and fast!

Fit:
I tried 9-10, 10.5-11 and 12-12.5. At first 9-10 fit too tight and 10.5-11 had a very noticeable heel lift. Same with 12-12.5. I was very sad and was about to return all three, but I remembered that it is the shell that should fit and the liners can be replaced. My feet fit the 9-10 without the liner. Figured the liner needed to be broken in and I was correct!
Make sure to try the skates without the liner and decide before returning.
Breaking in:
I rode these skates during a heat wave and the first 30 minutes it was uncomfortable to say the least. But after about 10 minutes break with the skates off and putting them on, I immediately noticed how easy they slide on. The liner broke in so fast!! The next 30 minutes were very enjoyable.
Performance:
The power transfer on these skates is great! Not a lot of energy is lost as I felt less tired than when I skated with my FR1s. But that also may be due to the wheels.
Frames:
Having to only remove the last wheel and being able to adjust the frames cuts down so much time! Trinity mount is great. I did have to move the frames to the middle as they were not both in the same position out of the box. Not a big issue.
Overall, so glad to have bought these skates and kudos to InlineWarehouse for processing the order so fast!
