K2 FIT & Alexis 80 Skates
Comfort: 10/10
K2’s SoftBoots have a comfortable build that allows for a lot of ventilation. They aren’t at all restrictive and take no time to break-in. The only difference between the F.I.T and Alexis models the cuff’s heights on the back of the skates. The Alexis cuffs sit lower to accommodate for longer muscles that women tend to have and the F.I.T’s are higher. Either is comfortable for whomever, it’s just a state of preference and it’s great to have options!
Ease: 9/10
These skates are easy to use, easy to get on and off and make skating easy especially for beginners. They have Stability Plus Cuff’s which offer a good amount of support in your ankles while making the skate’s weight lighter. Down below they have fixed frames which aren’t adjustable or removeable but they do bring your body closer the the ground which is another helpful aspect of the skate for one’s balance. They come with different lacing depending on which model you should choose but all are easy to use and make lacing much more efficient. The Speed lacing comes on the "Pro" and "ALU" models and the BOA lacing of course comes on the "BOA" models, but each are straight-forward lacing systems that waste no time in getting you in or out of your skates while keeping the closures out of the way.
Value: 8/10
These models come at an average price with advanced lacing and little pieces that make them easy and comfortable. If you’re looking for something cheaper but in similar quality we recommend the K2 Kinetic skates as they’re made very similarly but with standard lacing. However, these skates have everything you need to get started or get back into skating with a seamless and fun experience.

Comfort: 10/10
The Phuzion skates are designed around comfort with fixed liners that have fixed MyFit Recall Memory foam which is made of a combination of high-quality memory foams. The foams are great because they pop back into place without your foot inside of the skates but while your feet are in the skates they mold to the shape of your foot, through its heat. It also has a 3D anatomical design that promotes its comfort even more.
Ease: 9/10
They have Trinity Mounting with 3D casted frames that bring you closer to the ground, which makes balancing easier and feel much more natural with a responsive feel. They have reinforcements with an external shell that includes a torsion bar below for additional strength while keeping it lightweight. The light amount of glass-fiber reinforced plastic also promotes energy transfer and the mounting boosts it by being placed so widely across the front of your foot. The only reason these skates do not have a 10 out of 10 for ease is that the mounting makes them only compatible with other Powerslide Trinity frames (however there is a wide variety).
Value: 10/10
The price is honestly very low considering all of the amazing little details that are put into their insanely good construction. This is something that Powerslide is regularly very good at, I mean they definitely didn't skimp on all aluminum frames. The Phuzion Argons are the highest-priced versions of the Phuzion Skates but they are the most comfortable. So the skate line has a scale of performance vs comfort but they all consider both factors greatly which is why they made it to the top of our list.
