How to Size a Hockey Helmet
The most accurate method is to measure the circumference of your head just above the eyebrows and over the temples. You can use a soft measuring tape or something like a string, shoelace, or anything similar that can be measured after the fact. Another option is to use your hat size and to reference the sizing chart.
How to Check if it Fits Correctly
Using the helmet's adjustment features, open it to the largest setting and position on your head so that the front of the helmet is one finger width above the eyebrows. Squeeze the helmet together so that a comfortable and snug fit is achieved and then lock in the adjustment features.
Check the fit by moving the helmet around with your hands and shaking your head from side to side. It should not move loosely around nor should it have an uncomfortable amount of pressure. A proper fit should be securely snug against the head yet comfortable.
