Sherwood Code Encrypt 1
Overview
The Sherwood Code Encrypt 1 Shin Guard is loaded with performance and an ideal choice for the player active in every puck battle, quick on their feet, and in need of elite-level protection to go along with it. Viconic Impact Protection guards the knee and is strategically placed in this area to offer the best coverage possible. It's designed for any and every type of impact by dispersing the energy away from the joint, leaving you much safer in big collisions.
As sticks come flying at you when weaving through traffic, compress-molded high-density foam covers the back of the calf, providing optimal protection in a low-profile fit. Additionally, it features Sherwood's 360° Wrap, a unique strapping system that wraps the leg better than ever and is the best fit Sherwood has ever released.
Designed for even more comfort is the plush liner offering cushion foams, grip print for added security, and Sherwood's I/O Guard for abrasion resistance. Players can utilize the bottom pocket to insert the liner when wearing their shin guard tongues in or keep the liner against the skin when wearing the shins tongues out. MicroBan technology has then been implemented into the liner for premium odor control and stain resistance.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES | |
---|---|
Viconic Impact Protection VIP is a strategically cone-shaped material that takes the brunt force of impact energy and disperses it over a wider area. This provides players with elite-level protection from both linear and twisting impacts. |
|
360° Wrap The strapping system is designed to bring new capabilities to an ordinary strap. Straps in key areas are elongated and tapered to contour the body and provide a secure and harness-like fit. |
|
I/O Guard Whether you're tongues in or tongues out player, you can customize the liner's bottom portion to meet your needs. Keep the full liner out for tongues out or slip the liner inside the I/O Guard to protect the shin guard from abrasions when wearing the tongues in. |

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel to your ankle and round to the nearest inch. This measurement equals your shin guard size when worn over the skate tongue. Correspond this measurement with the "Tongue In" column below. This is the most popular style since it offers more coverage and the best mobility. | |
If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1" from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter and lower-profile fit. |
