Overview
The Powerslide Phuzion RFC 90 Skates are the first to revive eco-friendly skates from Powerslide. RFC stands for "Roll For Change" and a skate that focuses on being as eco-friendly as it can be, without sacrificing the quality of the skate is a good change to have! The construction of the boot includes eco glass-fiber reinforced plastic, 30% recycled materials, and 15% wheat. The fixed liners are made with recycled foam padding and bamboo and the uppers are made with canvas, hemp, and cotton. The laces are made of cotton, and the eyelets and hinge rivets are uncoated. The toe cap is made consciously without glue or mesh yet reformed to reduce waste.
There is no use of PVC or chemical ink in any part of the skate, even the wheels are unmarked. The skates use a 4x90 setup with a long wheelbase which adds stability and makes trails a breeze. Frames are made with 40% raw recycled aluminum which is lightweight and durable. Also, since we're on the topic... Skating as a form of transportation is really good for the planet!

KEY TECHNOLOGIES | |
---|---|
Trinity X Mounting The combination of the 'along' mounting block of the boot with the 'across' mounting slot of the frame. This allows for frame adjustment both laterally (7mm) and front to back (8mm) to individual preference and/or to correct ankles from wanting to roll (pronation/supination). Trinity frames mount at three points with two off-set winged mounts under the ball of the foot that creates a channel for the wheels to lower the skate, adding stability and power at push-off. | |
HABS Height Adjustable Brake System An easy and secure brake that allows for the brake pad to adjust up and down to prolong the life of the rubber. A rear axle that is threaded at both ends allows for the installation and removal of the brake with four outer screws that eliminate having to remove the axle or wheel. |

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SKATE SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Measure both feet with socks similar to those in which you intend to skate. Then use the measurement of the longest point and reference the model-specific size chart to determine size. How to Measure Your Feet for Skates. | |
Proper fit has the toes not being cramped against the front. Toes may slightly brush the front as heels will settle back when in the skating position. Try on skates indoors while in a seated position. Lace and buckle both skates, tap your heels to the floor, and then stand and bend your knees to simulate the skating position. How to Try on Inline Skates for Fit. | |
FIT GUIDELINES: Use foot measurement for the most precise fit. Add .5cm to the measurement for extra room at the toe or if wider feet. Unisex Model. |
